Lesbian Political Activism  - Wednesday 19 October
Visual displays and discussion
Workshop: Lesbians and Ageing in Aotearoa  - Wednesday 26 October
Dr Sonja Ellis (University of Waikato) is beginning a research project that focuses on ageing in pride era lesbians (those born approx. 1950-1975) in Aotearoa. As well as capturing some of Aotearoa's lesbian history, the project focuses on the needs and aspirations of pride era lesbians as they move through midlife and into older adulthood. Through an open discussion about ageing as a lesbian, the purpose of this session is to generate ideas that will help to develop the scope of the study. The session is open to women who identify as lesbian, bisexual, or similar and are aged 45+.

The twenty-seventh Annual General Meeting of LILAC will be held in the LILAC Lounge on the second floor of 187 Willis Street at 6.00pm on Tuesday 15th November 2022. All members are urged to attend.

Light refreshments will be available prior to the meeting.
